Corporate Bike Fleets
With
the Glenorchy City Council investing in bikes for their staff and the
Royal Hobart Hospital doing the same (Tas. Police have had an
extensive bike fleet for years) there is a growing trend towards BIKE

Rental Bikes for London
The
Mayor of London, Ken Livingston, is planning on introducing a Paris
style community bike rental scheme providing 10 000 bikes for rent
around London to reduce car use and improve London's air quality. The
scheme in Paris has been a huge success with each bike being used 6

E-Bikes boom in Europe
While
bike sales in the Netherlands rose only 2% in '07 compared to '06
e-bike sales increased by over 50% to 100 000 units. Mind you this
small potatoes compared to the 4 million sold in China last year! For
